The Rollover – bet No.4…

At the start of the last month we kicked off our new Rollover bet. The aim is to roll a £10 stake over with match winner selections, cashing-out when we get to the £100 mark. I believe that’s an achievable target. We’re not reaching for the stars. And this new feature adds some extra excitement to our weekly tennis coverage.

  • The Rollover advice will always be to bet with bookies that void match bets for uncompleted matches. That way we’ll never lose our stake/ rollover pot due to a match retirement. Find out more about bookies’ rules here

After bet No.3 won last week (Pablo Cuevas beat Daniel Gimeno-Traver 6-2, 7-5 in the ATP Tunis Challenger), the Rollover stake stands at £22.20. That goes on our next selection, with the match scheduled for around 3.30pm+ this afternoon…

Rollover bet:

  • Pierres Hugues-Herbert to beat Matthias Bachinger @ 3/10 (1.30)

Herbert was a 25/1 finalist for us at ATP Montpellier in February. That was an indoor hard court tournament. The Frenchman has made a good start to his clay court season, thanks to back to back wins in Monte Carlo last week over experienced and hardened opponents Fernando Verdasco and Kei Nishikori.

Playing at ATP Budapest this week, Herbert is ranked No.49 in the world and plays his weekly tennis on the main ATP Tour. Bachinger is No.129 in the rankings and the 32-year-old German plays more frequently on the lower-tier Challenge circuit these days.

Herbert is 3/10 with William Hill and BetVictor.

P.S
We’ve got three Outright Winner picks this week and they’re all scheduled to play this morning. At ATP Barcelona we’re on Daniil Medvedev (20/1) and Felix Auger-Aliassime (66/1). At WTA Istanbul our outsider selection is Anastasia Potapova (80/1).

Enjoy the tennis…

Best wishes,
