French pick in the quarters today…

For the 40th+ time this season, one of our weekly tournament Ones to Watch picks has made it through to the quarter finals.

Pauline Parmentier – backed at a best price 20/1 on Sunday – is now 8/1 at best for the WTA $125k Limoges title. Pauline is the only Frenchwoman left in the draw, in which five of the other seven quarter finalists are Russian.

One of those Russian representatives is World No.93, Ekaterina Alexandrova, who is priced up as a slight 3/4 (1.75) favourite to beat Parmentier today (12pm).

The head-to-head is level at 1-1. Parmentier won their most recent meeting, on clay last season. Alexandrova won their only previous hard court meeting, which came here indoors in Limoges in 2016.

Pauline has been largely untroubled so far with two solid 2-0 wins in the opening rounds. Our pick has a good chance of progressing today. And once again, we have a good Outright price on our side.

P.S
I’ll be back next week, from Tuesday onwards, with updates and any standout bets from the ATP World Tour Finals at London’s 02 Arena. We’ve gone in early with our Outright Winner underdog pick, with 25/1 Kevin Anderson the outsider price for me. If you’re not on Kevin yet, that price is still available today – and Betfred have even stuck their neck out at 28/1.

See you next week.

Enjoy the tennis…

Best wishes,
