Staying indoors...
Wednesday 20th October 2021
Good afternoon. Just a quick update from me today. Over at the European Open in Antwerp, we’ve got two Ones to Watch men in action this afternoon.
Both backed in the region of 25/1 Each Way, Arthur Rinderknech and Botic Van De Zandschulp are the players we’re following there.
Those two men are both strong servers who know how to move to the net and keep their service games tidy. That might sound like traditional Wimbledon skills, and you’d be right. But these days the fastest courts on the tour tend to be found at indoor hard-court venues in Europe, rather than on the hallowed turf of SW19.
That’s something to keep in mind next week, as we aim to follow players with the right minerals and skills to go well at any of the four tournaments coming up. All of which are taking place on indoor hard courts:
ATP 500 Vienna, Austria – Esrte Bank Open
ATP 250 St Petersburg, Russia – St Petersburg Open
WTA 250 Courmayeur, Italy – Courmayeur Ladies Open
WTA 250 Cluj-Napoca, Romania – Transylvania Open
Play starts from Monday morning. As ever, I’ll be in touch before the off, with my early take on the draws, and the most attractive big-price picks from the Outright Winner markets…
Enjoy the tennis…
Best wishes,
Tom Wilson
