WTA Guadalajara: 33/1 on the table today...
Wednesday 10th September 2025
We’ve backed one player at outsider odds in Mexico this week - Camila Osorio went in the book at 28/1 Each Way for WTA Guadalajara (read Monday’s tournament preview email here)...
Before hitting a ball herself, Osorio’s price actually drifted to 33/1 on Tuesday daytime (UK time). Presumably because the night before, hotly-tipped American teenager Iva Jovic won her 1st round match, triggering a move in the Outright market…
Osorio won her own 1st-round match last night, beating Kamila Rakhimova in straight sets, 7-5, 7-5 (and moving to 5-0 in that career head-to-head match-up).
Our 23-year-old Colombian pick is this morning trading at 20/1 in general for the title.
However…
A couple of new names on the Oddschecker table, bookies by the names of Priced Up and Bresbet, are offering the very top price of 33/1 as I write, with the standard Each Way terms of 1/2 odds 1-2 places.
Here’s the market at PricedUp.bet:

Considering that Osorio was a 10/11 (1.91) shot to beat Rakhimova in the 1st round, and started the tournament on day one at 28/1 for the trophy, there’s a case to say that Camila’s Outright price should now be nearer to 14/1 - 16/1.
With that in mind, 33/1 is well worth taking today, should you be so inclined (and especially so if you didn’t back Osorio when first advised).
The bookies’ price reasoning here likely hangs on the outcome of the next match; Osorio takes on the aforementioned teenager, Iva Jovic. The bookies have the 17-year-old as the match favourite to beat our player tomorrow, and in doing so, move through to the quarter finals.
We love a young, up-and-coming player here at Ones to Watch. But we love big prices more…
Jovic is just 5/1 in general to win the tournament. As it is, Thursday’s match in Guadalajara will be just the second Last 16 tie of her young career (she lost the first in Cleveland last month).
Osorio v Jovic is the world no.69 v the world no.73. Not much in it on the rankings.
We’re on the underdog for the trophy, at big prices - as is the Ones to Watch way…
You can watch the WTA Guadalajara matches live on Sky Sports Tennis, as well as on some bookie apps/ sites such as Bet365.
Enjoy the tennis…
