Just 12 more sleeps…

Tuesday 18th December 2018

In your Ones to Watch EXTRA email today:

  • Off-season doesn’t last long…
  • New Year to start with a bang…
  • Ones to Watch in 2019 – coming soon…

Just 12 more sleeps…

Christmas is just a week away. But I’m counting down the days to something else.

Don’t get me wrong. I love Christmas. But I also love the tennis…

The off-season always makes me a bit awkward. Last night I was watching darts. On Sunday I watched the Liverpool-Man Utd game. But it’s the tennis for me. Always has been. Always will be. Tennis is my sport.

Good thing for a tennis-head like me then, that the off-season period lasts barely a month. We’re straight back into action, from 30th December.

That’s right, the New Season bursts into action before the New Year fireworks have even been lit…

New Year to start with a bang…

I’ve updated the Calendar on our website with the first batch of January 2019 tournaments. There are 10 events that take us up to the first Big One of the year, the Australian Open on 14th January:

View the Calendar here

Before then, I’ll be getting down to business with my first tournament research, picks and advice for the early competitions.

The first ball will be hit in Shenzhen, China in just 12 days from now. Swiftly followed on New Year’s Eve by five more tournaments getting underway.

The first week of the season is a busy one. I’ll be watching. I’ll be taking notes. And as ever, we’ll be gunning for the big prices in 2019.

And before any of that…

Ones to Watch in 2019 – coming soon…

I’ll be in touch with your first Free Report for 2019. This will contain my latest Ones to Watch list, focusing on teenagers and young players to follow at big prices in the new season & beyond.

In recent years these lists have highlighted players going on to reach tournaments and win finals at massive prices, 100/1 and the like. We’ll be looking for more of the same.

I’ll be in touch over the Christmas holidays with your exclusive Ones to Watch in 2019 report. Followed by a first look at the January tournaments and Outright Winner markets. Then on to Melbourne for the Australian Open. More on all those plans to follow soon.

In the meantime, may I take this opportunity to say a big Thank You for being with me in 2018.

Have a very Merry Christmas.

Best wishes,

Oliver Upstone
