Don’t miss the return of my Sunday Night Club…

Thursday 30th July 2020

In your Ones to Watch EXTRA email today:

  • WTA Tour resumes next week…
  • The return of Sunday Night Club…
  • Each Way incentives at 50/1 & 100/1…

The tennis is back…

Over the last couple of weeks, the World Team Tennis competition has seen big US names likes Sofia Kenin, Venus Williams and Sloane Stephens on the roster. Lining up with glitzy team names like Chicago Smash, Vegas Rollers and the Springfield Lasers.

Here in the UK, the Battle of the Brits Team Tennis is providing a lively enough distraction this week. The players seem to be enjoying it – and up for it. And the National Tennis Centre in Roehampton is once again putting on a well-organised event, in these post-lockdown conditions.

But… I’ll be honest…

What I’m really looking forward to. What we’ve really been waiting for. Since March, when the pro tours were initially suspended due to the coronavirus crisis. What we really want is the weekly ATP & WTA tournaments back. And the Grand Slams when they come along, too.

Next week, some of the normal business is set to resume…

First tournament next week…

The pro tours are set to resume in August. Novak Djokovic and Rafael Nadal have entered the New York event prior to the US Open…

The first event back is with the women, at WTA Palermo next week, starting on Monday. World No.2 Simona Halep has pulled out, but plenty of other established names on are the entry list. It will be so good to have a ‘normal’ tournament back…

Back in the Outright Winner game…

That Palermo tournament will be our long-awaited first venture back into the weekly Outright Winner markets. This is the area where my Ones to Watch members & I do the most rewarding part of our betting activity…

Before lockdown, in January and February at the start of the 2020 season, we got five players into finals at Each Way prices. Landing winners at 10/1, 16/1 and 50/1. And half-the-odds runner-up payouts on Each Way picks at 22/1 and 25/1.

I will be right back in action, going for prices like that in the tournaments scheduled on the August calendar, and beyond…

Each Way incentives at 50/1 & 100/1…

Before the tennis was suspended:

  • 2020 had started with 69% of tournament finalists at odds of 10/1+
  • 41% of events saw the trophy match contended by a player or players at 50/1+
  • So far this season, 17% of tournaments have seen a 100/1+ finalist, up from 10% in 2019

Those are very encouraging numbers for underdog hunters like us.

So far this season, on average, one in four of my members-only Ones to Watch Outright Winner picks have reached the semi finals or final. That strike-rate suggests we’ll get plenty of chances to land our next ‘big one,’ as we did with 50/1 Kenin at the Australian Open in January.

Don’t miss the return of my Sunday Night Club…

Most weeks of the normal season, the ATP & WTA tournaments start on a Monday.

In order to get our Outright Winner picks in the book ASAP at the best prices, I email Ones to Watch members with a first look at the markets and players to watch on a Sunday night. And we call this… the Sunday Night Club.

That will be the case this weekend, with Monday 3rd August seeing the first WTA tournament since March.

Get onboard with a three-month trial, and throughout the rest of the 2020 season, whenever there are tournaments on, you’ll hear from me by email each week with all my bet advice and analysis.

Join Ones to Watch members like these…

  • ‘Very impressed!’– David T
  • ‘Thanks for the shrewd advice’ – Tony R
  • ‘My first ever tennis bet … and a 40/1 winner’– Ian A
  • ‘Amazed at the in-depth research and analysis you do’– Giuseppe
  • ‘I got in at 50-1 for £5 each way and am now £375 richer’– Stephen S

Join up today, and I’ll be in your inbox this Sunday night. With our first look at the WTA Palermo draw. And if the prices suit, a nice Each Way selection or two in the Outright Winner market.

I hope to see you for Sunday Night Club…
