Since we backed her at 28/1 Each Way last week, world no.85 Mboko has won three more matches in Montreal. Including a statement win over world no.2 and top seed, Coco Gauff.
Great stuff. And it’s a great feeling to be on a Ones to Watch youngster when they make that first big breakthrough in the sport…
Victoria is now through to the WTA Montreal semi finals. She’ll be the underdog against former Wimbledon champion Elena Rybakina, who beat Mboko in Washington just the other week.
The teenager is learning fast though, and after beating Gauff at her second attempt, what’s to say she won't do the same against world no.12 Rybakina tomorrow.
This morning’s latest Outright Winner prices have Mboko at just 11/2 (6.5) at best to win a maiden tour title this week. And it would be a massive one.
If you got on at 28/1 Each Way following last Thursday’s advice, then that means you have half the odds (eg. 14/1) on Mboko to beat Rybakina and reach the final. Getting into positions like this is what the Ones to Watch service is all about…
