Tennis Betting Advice - December 2023
Great news for tennis bettors in 2024...
Monday 4th December 2023
The tennis tours are now on their brief December hiatus. But before the first fireworks have gone off for New Year’s (literally), the first tournaments of 2024 will be getting underway in Brisbane, Sydney, Perth, Canberra, Auckland, and Hong Kong…
And the recent announcement that Sky Sports have purchased the broadcasting rights for the ATP and WTA Tours is great news…
Great news for tennis bettors in 2024…
Sky’s established place on TV, along with their advertising and dedicated-channel approach. Will only help to promote the sport we follow to more and more people…
Far more so than the somewhat niche, app-only approach of current rights holders Amazon Prime Video.
I’ve actually enjoyed the Amazon coverage in recent seasons. They sorted their game out a lot after an initially glitchy start.
But not everyone is a full-on tennis nut like me. And it is my suspicion that much of the public – say, the big chunk of Brits who only tune in for Wimbledon every summer, for example – might not have even been aware that you could watch the likes of Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray and co on the weekly tour circuit.
Including the massive Masters 1000 events, which only rank below the four Grand Slams in terms of status.
Put simply, Sky will get more people watching tennis every week. And more eyeballs on the sport means more money…
An increased ‘screen presence’ for tennis is sure to translate into more betting markets and more comprehensive coverage from the bookmakers. For example, Skybet should go to town on this. Other firms will then need to react to compete…
All of which means more opportunities for you & I to target specific players, bets, markets, and prices. On the weekly ATP and WTA Tours. As well as of course the four Grand Slams. The first of which, the Australian Open 2024, will help kick-off the new season in January…

How to watch the Grand Slams in 2024….
As well as buying up the broadcast rights to 99% of the weekly ATP & WTA tournaments. Sky Sports will also have the US Open through to 2027 (source: tennisontelly.uk).
Eurosport/ Discovery+ have got the Australian Open and French Open.
And Wimbledon is on the BBC.
