Tennis Betting Advice - February 2022
Tuesday 22nd February 2022
I said it’s a busy week on the tour. You’ve got a double-dose of me in your inbox today. This time I’m shifting focus to the men’s hard-court event in Mexico. The day’s play starts at Midnight, UK time. So, if you act on this email during the course of this evening (it’s 6pm as I write), you’ll be able to get on before my two nominated price selections get underway.
The two players I like for ATP Acapulco are Matteo Berrettini at 20/1, and Cameron Norrie at 33/1.
This 500-grade tournament boasts some big names, and big names mean short prices. The top of the Outright Winner market looks like this today:
Daniil Medvedev 15/8 (2.88)
Alexander Zverev 2/1 (3.0)
Rafael Nadal 5/2 (3.5)
Stefanos Tsitsipas 6/1 (7.0)
Those guys are all Top 10 players. But they’re certainly not unbeatable…
Berrettini is in the top half of the draw. Norrie is in the bottom half. At the prices, I very much like those two as outsider contenders here, betting Each Way.
With both hard-court form and price on our side, those two names are my Ones to Watch picks for Acapulco this week. Berrettini and Norrie are both well capable of mixing it with the big boys – and if any of the favourites slip up, they could be well-placed to take advantage.

Ones to Watch picks:
Outright Winner – Each Way (1/2 odds 1-2 places):
ATP Acapulco – Abierto Mexicano Telcel presentado pos HSBC

Play starts at Midnight, when bookies will take down their Outright Winner markets for the night.
Enjoy the tennis…
Best wishes,
