Katie Swan, Gabriella Taylor and Katie Boulter will all be looking to please the home crowd in Nottingham. However, these situations often prove a step up too far and all three are up against older, more experienced and higher-ranked opponents today…
Mona Barthel, Donna Vekic and Yanina Wickmayer are all odds-on favourites to win those respective matches.
Reigning Nottingham champion Vekic is the strongest pick of the three and I like her to win with a -4.5 Games Handicap, something she’s managed on each of the last 11 occasions when winning.
