On the opposite side of the WTA draw at Queen’s - which looks the ‘softer’ on paper - we should also get behind world no.16 Daria Kasatkina as a 16/1 shot. The likeable 28-year-old is enjoying some good vibes from crowds and players alike, having switched allegiance from Russia to Australia. And more importantly - Dasha likes the grass. In three of the last four seasons, Kasatkina has got to a WTA final in the run-up to Wimbledon.
Along with Russian 21-year-old world no.12 Shnaider at big odds - a powerful left-hander with one grass title already to her name from last season. We’ll take Daria too, at around 16/1. Backing both Each Way, as is the Ones to Watch way…
