Tennis Betting Advice - November 2023
Ones to Watch in Metz - at 28/1 and 66/1...
Monday 6th November 2023
Good morning. Another early start needed in order for us to hit the ATP Metz - Moselle Open markets before today's play begins at 12.30pm...
Straight to the point with three names and three big Each Way prices in the Outright Winner market:
Alexander Shevchenko @ 50/1 or 28/1
The young Russian impressed me recently, reaching his first quarter final, indoors at ATP Basel. I take back what I said about him possibly being distracted after getting engaged this autumn - he looked well up for it last time I watched him play. Talented and focused.
And as ever, at one of the many men's indoor hard-court tournaments played in France every year - we should keep a couple of home players in mind, especially at outsider prices...
Two French players that catch the eye in the betting here at 66/1 apiece:
Luca Van Assche and Pierre-Hugues Herbert. Two ends of the scale here - Luca is still a teenager, while Herbert is 32 years of age. The 19-year-old Van Assche is one to watch for years to come, and he's made a semi final and final (won) in his last two indoor Challenger events in France. Herbert won his 1st round match here in Metz on Sunday, with his serve in fine working order...
