Sakkari playing well in Seoul…

Rising Greek star Maria Sakkari is playing well and is through to the WTA Seoul quarter finals tomorrow morning.

Our 10/1 Each Way pick is a 1/2 (1.50) favourite to get past Irena Begu of Romania. Weather permitting, they should be on court around 9am UK time. The match will be live on the BT Sport channels.

We’ve got ourselves a fair few quarter finalists this season. It would be nice to see a few more of them go a couple of matches further down the line to the finals. But we must be patient. Our winning weeks will come. Last autumn we capped off the season with three tournament wins in a row. The hunt for Ones to Watch prices is an ongoing one.

As of next week…

There are four more events for us to consider next week. I’ll be taking a first look at those in an email to you either late Monday night or early Tuesday morning.

And it’s not just Outright Winner players & prices that we’re after. From now on I’ll be providing you with a more deliberate approach to ‘Ones to Watch’ match picks, too. Or in other words – highlighting and backing underdogs and outsiders in the Match Winner markets. This is an area I’ve been monitoring recently and as of next week and beyond, we’ll be taking on dodgy favourites and silly short prices more often throughout the weekly match schedules.

That’s all from me today. Sakkari has looked very strong so far in Seoul. She’s won her opening two matches 6-0, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-2. Let’s see if she can keep the run going tomorrow.

Enjoy the tennis,

Best wishes,
