Tennis Betting Advice - June 2025

One to Watch in Germany at 16/1…

Monday 23rd June 2025

Good evening. As promised, I’m back with a second email of the day. This time with Outright Winner advice for you, for this week’s tournaments - the final grass-court events before Wimbledon itself…

Four events taking place on the ATP/ WTA Tours this week, with play continuing from Tuesday AM…

June tennis events list on grass courts.

If you’ve been with me for some time, then you’ll already know the theme in a week like this one: with a Grand Slam starting next Monday, star players may be absent here, or not at full steam if playing, with at least one eye on SW19 next week…

On the other hand, lesser-known names can see these final pre-Wimbledon tournaments as a chance to get their hands on some silverware and serious prize money - although the bookies are no fools, and having perused the outright markets this evening, there don’t look to be too many bargains about.

Having said that, this time last year, this week’s four tournaments produced six out of eight finalists at odds of 22/1+, including 50/1 and 25/1 trophy winners. The only winning single-figure odds favourite was Taylor Fritz at 3/1 at ATP Eastbourne 2024, and the American world no.5 is back on the south coast looking to make it four Eastbourne titles in five years this week - going off at around the same price.

Our quest remains resolute: in the Outright Winner markets, we go after appealing outsiders at attractive Each Way prices…

The mission continues…

At WTA Bad Homburg in Germany, the first name that caught my eye on the draw-sheet was world no.10, EMMA NAVARRO

The 24-year-old American featured in your recent Ones to Watch 2025 - Grass Court Season Preview (view it here). With Navarro holding one of the best career grass-court match win records among the world’s Top 20…

Granted, Emma’s 2025 season has yet to hit the consistency and heights of her breakthrough 2024 campaign (in which she won a first WTA title, got to a Wimbledon quarter final, and then US Open semi final). But she’s got a title under her belt this year, reached another Major quarter final at the Australian Open this January… and has already won her 1st round match in straight sets this week.

For me, Emma falls into the category of a high-ranking if not household-name player, looking to play herself into form; in other words, taking this tournament seriously, despite Wimbledon being on the horizon…

Navarro will surely be aiming to go one better than her past two trips to this venue, having lost in the semi final at Bad Homburg two years running, both times to the eventual champion…

In a week that admittedly feels a bit like there’s slim pickings, odds of 16/1 - 12/1 for a player of this calibre in this field are worth taking. If Navarro beats Naomi Osaka tomorrow afternoon - as she did at Wimbledon last summer - then these Bad Homburg trophy prices will be chopped in half.
