Tennis Betting Advice - November 2025
100/1 early-bird for Australia...
Wednesday 19th November 2025
We’re in 100/1 territory today…
Four of the last 16 women’s Grand Slams have been won by a 100/1 shot (25%)…
They’ve been spread out one per year…
And that trend goes back even further:
We managed to successfully land this year’s one of those. With Madison Keys paying out for us at giant odds at the Australian Open back in January (you can read what I said ahead of the event here).
The next Aussie Open is the next ‘Slam in our sights. The first Major of 2026. And we’re making a Ones to Watch early-bird move for Melbourne once again…
As documented in September’s ‘Chasing Diana’ article, we’ve made quite a few plays on DIANA SHNAIDER over the last couple of years…
The 21-year-old Russian left-hander has won five WTA titles so far. But we weren’t on her for any of those…
As I said in September, there’s still plenty of time for Shnaider to develop and progress as a player – and to come good for us as a big-odds Ones to Watch proposition.
Diana is yet to do better than the 4th round (last 16) at any of the Grand Slams. But this exciting-to-watch, competitive youngster will be looking to make big strides to improve on that in 2026…
Shnaider is currently ranked no.21 in the world, having been as high as no.11 before. Still only 21 years of age, with a few ragged edges to her game still to iron out, admittedly. As I’ve said so many times over the years, the great leap forward can come at any time…
One to Watch for the first Major of 2026…
Working hard in the off-season, as well as taking a bit of time out to reset and reload ready for the new campaign. Backing Diana Shnaider as a big-odds prospect for the first ‘Slam of 2026 makes plenty of sense to me right now…
The key, as ever, is price. While some of my other favoured young names, rising stars, teenagers, and improving players are around the 40/1 – 50/1 mark for the 2026 Majors right now. Shnaider stands out at 100/1 for the Australian Open. A price that’s available with enough firms for us to get involved today.
In particular, Bet365 and BetVictor are 100/1 for Diana. While BetMGM/ VirginBet’s 120/1 might need the ‘if you can get it’ notice next to it.
Elsewhere, some firms are 40/1. Betfred are 50/1. Skybet, Paddy Power & Betfair Sportsbook are 66/1. Depending on the draw and the lie of the land, I would expect to still be able to get 40/1+ for Shnaider on the eve of the Australian Open in January. Then again, if she wins one of the warm-up events Down Under before Melbourne, then her day-one price may end up being 33/1 or shorter…
Today is all about getting the 100/1 in the book if you can. I wouldn’t turn my nose up at 80/1, too.
