Tennis Betting Advice - November 2019
The first tournaments of 2020...
Thursday 28th November 2019
In your Ones to Watch email today:
A month to prepare...
The 2019 tennis season is over. But there really isn’t long to wait until the action starts up again...
Play begins on the very first weekend of the New Year.
And between now and then, we’ll be getting ourselves ready for the 2020 season with plenty of Ones to Watch activity in December.
That includes the latest instalment of your annual Ones to Watch player list...
The current 2019 edition featured the likes of Daniil Medvedev, who went on to reach nine finals this year – winning four of them – and finished the year ranked No.5 in the world.
Medvedev reached a maiden Grand Slam final, too – coming runner-up at the US Open in September, having been a 100/1 shot at the start of the summer.
Our Ones to Watch in 2019 list also featured Stefanos Tsitsipas. He finished the year ranked No.6, reached six ATP finals and won three of them – including the end-of-season ATP Finals at 18/1. The Greek youngster also made the semi finals of the Australian Open.
I’ll also be looking into the 2020 markets with a couple of early-bird picks for the Grand Slams...
We’ve already got 50/1 Belinda Bencic and 80/1 Alex De Minaur down as Ones to Watch for the Australian Open. The French Open, Wimbledon and US Open will be in our thoughts, too.
And before all that, I’ll be in touch next week with my 2019 Season Review, including a year-end summary of tournament prices and trends.
The first tournaments of 2020...
I’ve just updated our Calendar page with the full list of January tournaments.
There are a total of 10 events taking place in the first month of the season.
Including the first ever ATP Cup competition, plus eight other men’s & women’s weekly tournaments – and then the first Grand Slam of the year, the Australian Open 2020.
View the January Calendar here
I’ll be back next week with a look back on the 2019 campaign. And then we’ll be straight into our players & prices for 2020.
Enjoy the tennis…
Best wishes,
Tom Wilson
